If you've searched for two-way sync between monday.com and Google Sheets, Unito is probably the name you found first. It syncs records both ways between many work tools. We sync one pair, monday.com and Google Sheets, and the setup shows the difference.
We make Monday to Sheets, so read this knowing who wrote it. Unito's details came off its pricing page, its monday.com and Google Sheets integration page, and its own setup guide on 19 October 2026.
Buy Unito if you sync several tools with each other, like monday.com with Jira, Asana or HubSpot, and Sheets is one more. Buy Monday to Sheets if you want a monday.com board in a sheet with every column type, without building the sheet around the sync.

The sheet Unito needs
Unito's guide for monday.com and Google Sheets asks for a few things. You install the Unito Spreadsheet Sync add-on. The first row is the header, with each column named to match a monday.com field. The first and last columns are "UnitoID" and "Last Modified", which the add-on can add for you. A status field needs a dropdown in the sheet with one option per monday.com label.
Monday to Sheets builds the tab for you. Once a board and its columns are picked, it writes a hidden key row with each column's type and ID, a frozen label row, then the items. Status columns get their dropdown when two-way is on.
Column coverage
Unito's guide says only text and number fields sync from monday.com.
We sync every column type monday.com has: status, people, dropdown, date, timeline, mirror, formula, connected boards, files, subitems and the rest. Computed columns like formula, mirror and auto number come in read-only. On two-way, edits on text, numbers, status, date, checkbox, link, email and phone go back. People, connected boards, files, dropdown and tags stay read-only, because they need ids monday.com won't take from a plain cell, and the sheet doesn't mark them as editable.
Renaming a column
Unito's guide says that if you rename a column you need to update the field mapping in Unito, or the data stops syncing.
We store each column's ID in a hidden row. Rename it in monday.com and the header changes on the next sync, and nothing else does.
